The Stena Line Belfast Giants will wait to find out their Elite League destiny following Saturday’s 6-4 win over the Dundee Stars. The Giants are in first place after 60 games and a Coventry Blaze win in regulation time over the Cardiff Devils on Sunday will give Belfast a first league title since 2014. Any other result on Sunday will see the Devils crowned champions for a third straight season.
Saturday goals from Darcy Murphy (x2), Kyle Baun (x2), Jonathan Boxill & Pat Dwyer helped the Giants win their final league game of the season and remain in first place.
Tyler Beskorowany backstopped the Giants to Saturday’s win against the Stars with the home side missing Andrew Dickson, Jonathan Ferland and Guillaume Gelinas.
