5 reasons not to miss a GIANT Halloween night out this Saturday
A GIANT Halloween celebration is coming to town this weekend, as the Stena Line Belfast Giants take to the ice to face the Fife Flyers at The SSE Arena, Belfast on Saturday 30th October. The spooky themed game is one not to be missed and here are five reasons why…
FREAKY FANCY DRESS
Get in the Halloween spirit, wear your best fancy dress for the Giants’ Halloween themed game night. Will you be a ghost, a ghoul, a zombie, or maybe a Squid Game player? Whatever you choose, get creative – there will be spot prizes up for grabs for the best costumes! Giants’ spooky merch will also be on sale at the merchandise stands.
WIN GIANT PRIZES
You could win some fantastic prizes, with a special Halloween Shirt Off the Back competition, Chuck-A-Puck game and 50/50 lottery.
WIN your very own specially commissioned Belfast Giants Halloween jersey in the Giant Halloween Shirt off the Back competition! The spooky jerseys worn by the team on the ice on Saturday night will not be available to buy but you could WIN a game worn jersey, with jerseys worn by ALL players on the night up for grabs. Simply purchase your raffle tickets, priced £2 per ticket, on the night to be in with a chance to win.
WIN a GIANT cash prize this Saturday in the Giants’ 50/50 lottery. Tickets for 50/50 are on sale when doors open from 5.30pm for £1 each; the more tickets sold, the larger the prize pot becomes!
Chuck your (foam) pucks onto the ice during the intermission right after the second period in our Chuck-a-Puck game. Chuck-a-Pucks will be on sale on the night for £1 each.
The closest three pucks to centre-ice will win:
- First prize - Trip for two to Scotland thanks to Stena Line
- Second prize - Giants jersey signed by the team
- Third prize - Family pass (two adults & two kids) to a home game of your choice!
MAKE SOME NOISE FOR ONE OF OUR OWN
The Halloween themed game this Saturday will be the second outing on home ice local player, for Kell Beattie! After impressing in his first games versus Fife both on the road and at home, Coach Keefe is putting the 17-year-old defenceman back on the roster as the team take on Fife at home again. Come on to cheer on the Belfast boy who is keen to make an impression once again for his home crowd.
SPOOKY TUNES
Get ready to get your ghoulish grove on, as DJ Matt McIvor brings out all the best Halloween tunes out of the archives. And get ready for the Dance Cam to capture you busting your spooky moves!
GAME ON IN THE WARRIOR ZONE
Head to The Warrior Zone on The Bridge during the intermissions for your chance to take part in a range of classic Halloween themed games for the chance to win spot prizes.
