Giants team up with Pizza Guyz for BASE-OFF Competition
Introducing BASE-OFF, a GIANT pizza-making competition that will run during the Giants' 2022/23 season in Pizza Guyz locations across Belfast.
Launched on Friday 7 October at their Andersonstown store, the competition is the product of a new exciting collaboration between the Belfast Giants and partners, Pizza Guyz.
What is it?
BASE-OFF is essentially a pizza-making competition, made up of multiple rounds. In each round, following a pizza producing masterclass from Pizza Guyz owner Ciaran Kelly, four Giants players will go head-to-head in plight of producing the best pizza. The winner of each round will then progress to a championship finale - where the overall winner of the competition will be decided.
Who decides the winner?
The final winning contestant is determined by the Teal Army! Voting for the best pizza will open for a short period of time after each round, on Giants' social media channels - Twitter and Instagram stories.
The prize?
Once the final winner is crowned following the championship finale, Pizza Guyz will donate a sum of £500 to the winning player's charity of choice.
