Priced at £39.00 for adults (16+) and £22.00 for children, a weekend pass ticket secures your seat for all four Friendship Four games over Friday 29 and Saturday 30 November 2024.

Weekend pass tickets will go on sale at 12pm on Thursday 28 March 2024 via ticketmaster.ie. A service charge and facility fee will apply to all ticket types. T&Cs apply.

WHAT IS THE FRIENDSHIP FOUR?

Held annually in Belfast since 2015, the Friendship Four is the first and only National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division One ice hockey tournament to take place outside North America. The high-profile four-game tournament is designed to promote education, social welfare, and community interaction, building on the sister cities agreement between Belfast and Boston, which was signed a decade ago.

Set to take place at The SSE Arena, Belfast on Friday 29 and Saturday 30 November 2024, Harvard University, Boston University, Merrimack College, and the University of Notre Dame will compete for the coveted Belpot Trophy, last won by Quinnipiac University in 2022.

For local hockey and sports fans, the tournament provides a rare opportunity to see four top U.S. college teams go head-to-head in the heart of Belfast. With a reputation of providing a pipeline of top talent into the National Hockey League (NHL), and other top leagues around the world, NCAA hockey is known and loved for its high-energy and fast pace, which is sure to impress local crowds.

Historically, the tournament has also proven to be a strong scouting opportunity for the Belfast Giants, with current members of the 2023/24 roster; Kohei Sato, Jeff Baum, Miles Gendron, Charlie Curti, and Greg Printz all taking to the ice in Belfast for the first time during the Friendship Four.

2024/25 Belfast Giants season ticket holders will be able to avail of a payment plan for 2024 Friendship Four weekend pass tickets. Further information regarding this will be communicated directly at a later date.
