GIANT Party Schedule

The men in teal are getting ready to host a GIANT party to celebrate 25 seasons and want to make sure you don't miss out on any of the action! For one night only, W5 will be decked with memorabilia, nostalgic throwbacks, and a range of exciting Giants-themed activities.

Entry

Doors open at 6PM, and the main events commence at 7PM. On arrival, present your ticket at the front desk of W5 and collect your Belfast Giants Anniversary chocolate bar. Check within the wrapper before tucking into the tasty snack, as there will be ONE exclusive silver ticket. If you’re the lucky winner, use the ticket to redeem your GIANT prize.

Ground Floor

Merchandise Stand 7PM - 9.30PM

Stop by ‘The Lost Planet’ as you enter W5 to order and purchase your special edition 25th anniversary merchandise. Cash and card payments accepted.

Level 1

Raffle Sales 6PM - 9.30PM

Stop by ‘MED-Lab’ to purchase your raffle tickets to be in with a chance of winning GIANT Prizes. Cash payments preferred.

Face Painters 6PM - 9.30PM

Transform your look and enjoy some face-painting fun on the concourse.

W5 Cafe 6PM - 9.30PM

Don’t worry about needing a snack break! The cafe will be serving light bites and refreshments throughout the party.

Level 2

Climbit - CHILD SESSION 6PM - 8PM

Scale the heights of W5’s multi-story climbing structure with some Belfast Giants players. Under 16s only.

Memorabilia 6PM - 9.30PM

Explore Giants memorabilia from seasons’ past and present.

Selfie Pod 6PM - 9.30PM

Head to the atrium and capture some memories of this milestone night in a Giant-themed selfie pod.

Storytime with Coops 7PM - 7.10PM

Stop by the ‘Over the Hills & Far Away’ zone and enjoy a bedtime story told by Captain Mark Cooper. This is ideal for young members of the Teal Army, but everyone is welcome.

Deep Freeze Show 1 7.30PM - 8PM

This will be the first of two icy-cool science experiment shows taking place at the Science bar.

Storytime with Bo 7.30PM - 7.40PM

Bo Hanson will be next to read a hockey tale in the ‘Over the Hills & Far Away’ zone. Stop by and listen to a Bedtime story with Bo.

Storytime with Roachy 8PM - 8.10PM

Josh Roach will round off the storytime sessions at the ‘Over the Hills & Far Away’ zone. Come along and enjoy a reading by Roachy.

Climbit - ADULT SESSION 8PM - 9.30PM

It’s the adults’ turn to scale the heights of W5’s multi-story climbing structure. Over 16s only.

Deep Freeze Show 2 8.30PM - 9PM

If you were busy exploring W5 during the first icy-cool science show, do not fear. There will be another taking place at the Science Bar.

Level 3

Craft Station 6PM - 9.30PM

Local charity, Age NI, will be hosting a Christmas card craft station. We encourage you to stop by to create a Christmas card and write a nice message to bring some joy to a local elderly person this festive season.

Shoot the Puck 6PM - 9.30PM

Test your skills against some Belfast Giants players as you try to shoot pucks past them and into the net.

PENGUIN CURLING 6PM - 9.30PM

Take part in some friendly competition in Penguin Curling! Push the penguins across the ice and see who can get them closest to the nest.

Level 4

360 Degree 6PM - 9.30PM

Take selfies to a whole new level with the 360-degree camera, plus snap some pictures with Belfast Giants players.

Video Messaging 6PM - 9.30PM

Create your own GIANT memories by creating video messages that will last a lifetime.

Live with Mark Garside 8PM - 9PM

Belfast Giants alum Mark Garside will be making an appearance, but that’s not all! Garside will also be providing live musical entertainment for fans to enjoy.

Walk through 25 seasons of the Giants 7PM - 9.30PM

Go back in time in AMAZE as we delve into the archive, dust off old memories, and explore past interviews, footage, and championship moments.

Level 5

Raffle Sales 6PM - 9.30PM

You can also purchase raffle tickets outside W5’s Lecture Theatre for a chance to win GIANT prizes. Cash payments preferred.

Lecture Theatre Talks 7PM - 9.20PM

There will be a series of talks looking back on the legacy of the club over the last 25 seasons. Players, coaches and special guests will reminisce about the past and chat about the future of the Belfast Giants. Entry to talks is permitted with tickets only. These will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis upon entry into W5.

Upon exit, be sure to collect your goodie bag from the W5 Shop on the ground floor of W5.
