Giants and fonaCAB Celebrate Two Decades in Partnership

The Belfast-based taxi firm is Northern Ireland’s biggest and most experienced taxi company, with a fleet of over 1,000 cars and drivers. A family-run business, fonaCAB was originally founded by Sidney McCausland in 1962, with William McCausland – Sidney’s son and current CEO – growing the business to become the largest taxi company on the island of Ireland and the fifth largest in the United Kingdom.

Steve Thornton, group head of commercial and hockey at The Odyssey Trust, said: “As we have been over the past 19-years, we are immensely proud to be working alongside fonaCAB this season – renewing our longest-running partnership. Year after year, the Giants rely on fonaCAB to shuttle players to and from airports, and across the country, with their first experience of Northern Ireland often being fonaCAB drivers, who leave a welcoming and warm impression on behalf of the local community.”
