Lewisville Autoplex Joins the Team from Across the Atlantic

The Stena Line Belfast Giants is expanding its network of sponsors across the Atlantic, as Texas based Lewisville Autoplex comes on board at the team’s official helmet sponsor.

Lewisville Autoplex is a family run franchise auto dealer and national leaders in customer satisfaction in the United States. They offer a candy-shop for car lovers with endless opportunities with customizations, imports, and hand-picked luxury models. They also have a wide range of sedans and family hauling SUVs as well.

Vice-President Jeff Baum Sr. first came to Belfast five years ago when his son Jeff Baum Jr. (JB), current Belfast Giant defenseman, came to play in the Friendship Four Tournament. The Baum family felt welcomed into the city and quickly fell for the old pubs, bustling streets, beautiful University areas, and most importantly– the people.

Since Jeff Baum Jr. joined the Belfast Giants for the 2021-2022 season, his family have been back to Belfast twice and are already planning another visit for the spring. In the run up to the start of the season, Jeff Baum Sr. became a Twitter legend. Droves of Giants’ fans rushed to follow the newly signed defenseman last year, not realising they were in fact following his dad.

The elder Jeff Baum has brought a lot of energy and humour to the Giants’ Twitter timeline over the course of the season, with his distinctive “LFG!” catchphrase.
