Save the Date - Valentine's Game Night
Make GIANT Valentine's plans this February at our themed night on 19th February v Fife Flyers in Premier Sports Elite League action.
It's ALL happening at The SSE Arena, Belfast on Saturday 19th February, as we prepare to hit the ice for our annual Valentine's themed night. Whether you're single or coupled, there's a special night in store for everyone. Here's why:
Shirt off the Back - Full Team Valentine's Special
To mark the occasion, the Stena Line Belfast Giants will don Valentine's themed jerseys. You've got the chance to WIN your very own specially commissioned jersey in the Shirt off the Back competition, where every player's jersey will be up for grabs. Simply purchase your raffle tickets, priced £2 per ticket, on the concourse area on game night to be in with a chance to win.
GIANT Giveaways
WIN a GIANT cash prize in the Giants’ 50/50 lottery draw. Tickets for 50/50 are on sale when doors open for £1 each; the more tickets sold, the larger the prize pot becomes. Watch the jackpot grow on screen throughout the game!
Chuck your (foam) pucks onto the ice during the intermission right after the second period in our Chuck-a-Puck game. Chuck-a-Pucks will be on sale on the night for £1 each.
The closest three pucks to centre-ice will win:
- First prize - Trip for two to Scotland thanks to Stena Line
- Second prize - Giants jersey signed by the team
- Third prize - Family pass (two adults & two kids) to a home game of your choice!
Flash prizes will also be up for grabs on the night.
Intermission Activities
While the intermission breaks are ideal for toilet breaks or snack runs, you're not going to want to leave your seat when our Subway Titanic Quarter cannon (that actually looks like a Giant Subway sandwich) makes an appearance on the ice. Make some noise to get the cannon operator's attention and try and catch a sub as they're launched into the crowd. One of the most talked about game night activities, this is probably the most American thing you'll see outside of America!
The Bridge is where the fun happens during our intermission breaks, visit the fan zone to find out more about the history of hockey in Belfast, head to the Warrior Zone to compete in GIANT fan v player challenges, and so much more.
Kiss Cam & Dance Cam
Watch out for the kiss cam on the night, our production team will be scoping out those date nights in the arena bowl, and you might just catch yourself on the big screen - it's up to you whether you turn the cheek or plant a big one on the other half. You're guaranteed a laugh at this!
Our dance cam will surely get you off your seat - pumping tunes will send the dance cam off to pan around the arena. If you don't see yourself, you'll see others busting their best moves on screen.
