Superhero Cycle for Ethan
As part of The Odyssey Trust’s ongoing support and fundraising efforts for young Giants fan, Ethan McClean, a special superhero cycle will take place at the Belfast Giants’ home game against the Fife Flyers on Saturday 16 November.
From 5.30PM to the end of the first period of play, in the foyer and by The Bridge in the bowl, Robert Fitzpatrick, Chief Executive Officer of The Odyssey Trust, and Paul McMahon, Chief Operating Officer of The Odyssey Trust, will both lead the cycle using exercise bikes, alongside members of staff. All money raised through game night collections and a dedicated GoFundMe page will be donated to help Ethan complete his bucket list.
The McClean family will walk a 31-mile route from their hometown of Ballymena to The SSE Arena on Saturday 16 November, in time for our Challenge Cup home game against Fife Flyers.
Not only will the Superhero Cycle raise funds towards Ethan completing his bucket list, it will also see 20% of all funds raised donated to MDUK to fund vital research into funding a treatment or cure for Muscular Dystrophy.
MDUK will have an information desk situated on The Bridge at Saturday night's game where you can find out more information about their important work and seek support. There will be bucket collections around the arena on the night. Any donations, no matter the amount, are all greatly appreciated.
